The City is removing and replacing street trees at various locations throughout downtown Shelton, to improve pedestrian mobility and safety.

This project results from a 2021 arborist's report, which recommended that the City develop a renewal and replacement plan for the street trees, as root-cutting and sidewalk grinding/replacement are temporary solutions to resolve the ongoing sidewalk lifting problem.
