Road Work: North Shelton Springs Road between Wallace Kneeland Boulevard and the North 13th Street/Alpine Way intersection - Parker Pacific, a private contractor, will be working on a water main extension project for the future Olympic Heights development. They will be working on North Shelton Springs Road between Wallace Kneeland Boulevard and the North 13th Street/Alpine Way intersection.

Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, April 1, and is estimated to last approximately 6-8 weeks. Work within the intersections along this route will take place at night. Work within the roadway near Shelton High School will take place during Spring Break to minimize impacts.

The City does not currently have enough water available for the parcel being developed. This water main extension project will provide enough water for the full build-out of the development and provide water for other potential parcels in the area to connect to water.

This is the most current information available to City staff at this time. Construction schedules are variable and subject to change based on weather, supplies, unexpected conditions, and other factors that may impact the work day or schedule.
