Shelton Rotary Updating Student Memorial at Huff 'n' Puff Trail

The Shelton Rotary Club, as part of the City's Adopt-a-Park program, has adopted the Huff 'n' Puff Trail and has been busy promoting trail maintenance and community usage over the past year. In partnership with the City, the Shelton School District, and Abe Gardner, the next project is completing basic maintenance and updates to the existing Student Memorial located at the Huff 'n' Puff trailhead.

The existing Student Memorial recognizes local students who passed away while in grades 6-12, before completing graduation. This Memorial was last updated in 2014. Through ongoing research and outreach, 18 additional names have been identified to potentially be added to the Student Memorial.

If you are an immediate family member of a proposed student and would like to request that their name not be included, please contact Abe Gardner at 360-801-9555 by March 15. If a request is received to not include a student's name by March 15, that request will be honored.
