Shelton City Council Selects Lyndsey Sapp to Fill Vacancy

The Shelton City Council has selected Lyndsey Sapp to fill the vacant position on the Council, seat six, formerly held by Joe Schmit.

The Council conducted applicant interviews with Tiffany Anderson, Kathy McDowell, David Pierik, and Sapp at their May 14 meeting.

"This community has invested so much in my family and me," said Sapp. "I am so excited for this opportunity to give back and support the community that has helped us so much."

Sapp was sworn into office by City Clerk Donna Nault at the May 21 Council meeting at the Civic Center. Her term will last until November 2025.
