Shelton Police Department Receive Sierra Pacific Industries Donation

The Shelton Police Department would like to thank community partner Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) for their recent donation of $1,600 to purchase a WRAP safe restraint system.

"Sierra Pacific is proud to partner with the Shelton Police Department to provide updated equipment and training for the officers that serve our community," said SPI Community Relations Manager Lisa Perry.

The WRAP is a safe restraint system designed to protect subjects, officers, and staff by reducing the possibility of injury or death. When control is achieved, the restrained subject is in an upright and seated position that helps respiratory recovery and receiving medical care as needed.
