Emergency Management
The objective of the Emergency Management program is to assist the entire community with preparing for emergencies. We plan and train for a coordinated response and recovery. The City of Shelton partners with area agencies and community groups to help community members and businesses prepare for disasters, to protect lives, property, and the environment, and restore essential services.
Services include:
- Emergency alerts via the Mason County CodeRED phone/text/email system
- Staff training and response planning
- Community education and resources
- Emergency water filtration units
- Facilitating partnership opportunities
